Peter Levi

Peter Chad Tigar Levi was Professor of Poetry at the University of Oxford. Born Jewish, he became a Jesuit priest but later renounced his vows to marry. He was also an archaeologist, travel writer, biographer, scholar and prolific reviewer and critic.
