- Jones: Gimme your torch. [drops the torch into the Well of Souls and finds it covered with snakes] Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?
- Sallah: Asps. Very dangerous. [pause] You go first.
- Jones: I'm going after that truck.
- Sallah: How?
- Jones: I don't know, I'm making this up as I go.
- Marion: You're not the man I knew ten years ago.
- Jones: It's not the years, honey; it's the mileage.

- Jock: Oh, that's just my pet snake Reggie!
