William Bradford

William Bradford was an American journalist, printer, soldier and patriot of the American Revolution. He was born in New York, and later moved to Philadelphia, where he published an influential newspaper. He was an opponent of British policies. He followed words with heroic deeds during the Revolution and was known as "the patriot printer of 1776."
