Zalmay Khalilzad
Dr. Zalmay M. Khalilzad (born 1951) is the highest-ranking native Afghan and Muslim in the Bush administration. Currently, Khalilzad is U.S. ambassador to Iraq; he was sworn in on June 21, 2005.
